Qualifications:
Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) Holds current state or national certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (such as EIPA, RID, or equivalent) Experience supporting students in educational settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Adaptable and resourceful in dynamic environments Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation services for students, staff, and families in classroom and school-related settings Facilitate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and their peers, educators, and support staff Support inclusive educational participation and foster an accessible learning environment Contribute to student IEP meetings and collaborate on progress monitoring Ensure all services follow established guidelines and ethical standards
