BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The primary purpose of your job position is to implement speech and language services as directed by the Speech Language Pathologist and the Communication Coordinator.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Description of Minimum Job Requirements Education:
Must have completed eight years of grade school and provide proof of ability to read at an 8th grade level.
Age:
Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age and of good moral character.
Experience:
No prior experience required
Supervision:
Job has no responsibility for the supervision of other employees.
Human Collaboration Skills:
Work will require following directions from a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Work will require caring for clients with Developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and with various medical conditions. Work will require interacting with other employees in a professional healthcare environment. Display effective and constructive communication skills when interacting with clients, families and fellow employees. Freedom to
Act Tools and Technology:
Operating variety of resident communication devices Safely operate Hoyer lifts Safely operate Mechanical patient lifts Safely operate patient lifting devices Operate telephone and paging systems
Technical Skills:
Operate a laptop or desktop computer. Navigate and operate the workforce management software for purposes of, but not limited to, scheduling, timecard management, time off requests, and pay verification. Navigate, operate and document in the electronic health record software for daily client reporting.
Reading:
Ability to read and speak the English language.
Math:
Basic math skills; ability to read measurement instruments if needed.
Writing:
Ability to write in the English language.
Certifications and Other Requirements:
Must be certified in First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association or hold current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
Pay:
From $19.50 per hour
