A full-time contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to work with a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) program at a middle school. Qualifications & Experience:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) EIPA score of 3.0 or above (required) Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility/application in progress for PEL Previous experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in an educational setting preferred Strong collaboration and communication abilities Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
