Desired Qualifications:

Current certification as a Sign Language Interpreter Minimum ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher Experience providing 1:1 interpretation in a school setting preferred Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams and communicate clearly with students and staff Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting student needs Willingness to work on-site and relocate or travel as needed for the assignment

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate, real-time ASL interpretation for a student throughout the school day Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment Assist educators and staff in understanding the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to the ethical standards of interpreting Participate in meetings, events, and school functions as required to support student participation
