The position begins with the 2026/2027 school year, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Active Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Certification required Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Prior experience interpreting in educational settings and/or with elementary-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Responsibilities:

Provide interpreting services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing during classroom instruction and school activities Accurately convey spoken and signed communication between students, teachers, and peers Assist instructional staff in adapting materials as needed to support student access Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment Support students' social interaction and participation in schoolwide events In return for your expertise and dedication, youll enjoy highly competitive compensation starting at $37+ per hour, along with weekly pay for reliable income.
