Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Nationally certified or state-credentialed Sign Language Interpreter (SLI level required) 0-3 years' experience (early career encouraged), 4-6 or 7+ years' experience especially valued Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and educational interpreting practices Experience or comfort working in schools and multidisciplinary teams Dependable onsite availability for at least 4 days a week (hybrid optional)

Responsibilities:

Provide sign language interpretation for students across diverse classroom settings Support students in both hearing-impaired and non-verbal communication programs (SAILS, STEPs) Participate actively in student evaluations and team meetings Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and specialists
