Qualifications:
Current sign language interpreter certification (state or national) Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience interpreting in educational settings preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to new environments and quickly integrate with school staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide interpreting services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in classroom and school activities Facilitate effective communication between students, educators, and staff Support individualized education plans (IEPs) as required Uphold confidentiality and foster an inclusive atmosphere
