Key Qualifications:

Proficient in American Sign Language with an ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher Prior experience working in educational environments or with K-12 students Ability to deliver clear, accurate interpretation in a 1:1 setting Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and professionalism Willingness to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs Open to candidates ready to travel and relocate for the duration of the assignment

Core Responsibilities:

Provide real-time sign language interpretation to facilitate communication between the assigned student and school personnel Support the students learning, participation, and social engagement in mainstream and specialized classrooms Work closely with special education teams and maintain confidentiality at all times Adapt interpreting strategies based on student progress and daily learning activities Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
