1:1, details discussed in an interview Soliant is seeking a skilled and dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to join our team. If you are passionate about facilitating communication and making a difference in the lives of students with hearing impairments, we encourage you to apply!
What We're Looking For:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Must have EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 4.0+ OR possess an RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) Certification, AND completion of an approved ITP (Interpreter Training Program) Experience working as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting preferred Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in an elementary school setting preferred
What You'll Do:
Provide sign language interpretation services for students in a school setting Assist in classroom instruction and activities by interpreting spoken language into sign language Support students in understanding and participating in classroom discussions and activities Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with hearing impairments
Pay:
$42-50/hr depending on qualifications Benefits Full benefits, including health, dental, vision and 401(k) matching Guaranteed hours Weekly pay How to
