Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Certification or credentialing as a Sign Language Interpreter (national or state preferred) Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Experience delivering interpreting services in K-12 educational settings (preferred) Strong understanding of deaf and hard-of-hearing student needs Excellent communication, social, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret classroom instruction, events, and meetings to ensure full access for deaf and hard-of-hearing students Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance learning experiences Support curriculum access through clear, accurate communication Foster inclusion and positive student engagement
