Youll collaborate closely with educators and other support staff, providing direct communication access and interpretation for students and staff, and ensuring equal participation in the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a current Sign Language Interpreter license issued by the State of North Carolina Demonstrated skill in interpreting in PreK-12 educational environments Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and other interpreting modalities as required Strong ability to foster inclusive communication in diverse settings Excellent collaboration, professionalism, and flexibility as part of a multidisciplinary team Dedicated to confidentiality, ethical standards, and student advocacy
