Qualifications and Requirements:

ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or higher (required) Experience providing ASL interpreting services in an educational or similar setting Comfortable working 1:1 with students, supporting both academic and social situations Ability to work full-time, consistently on-site Flexibility and professionalism in adapting to a range of student needs Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver clear, accurate ASL interpretation between students, staff, and faculty Foster inclusivity by facilitating active participation in classroom activities and campus events Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in line with relevant codes for interpreters Assist with educational material comprehension and social interactions as needed Participate as a vital member of the student support team, collaborating with educators and administrators
