POSITION SUMMARY

Focus Interpreting is searching for a talented Simultaneous English - Italian Interpreter to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will provide real-time interpretation services during events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring that English and Italian speakers can communicate effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver seamless simultaneous interpretation between English and Italian during various events and professional settings. Maintain accuracy and clarity while interpreting, ensuring that messages are conveyed faithfully and without alteration. Adhere to best practices in the field of interpretation, including respecting confidentiality and ethical guidelines. Continuously improve language and interpretation skills through ongoing training and practice. Prepare for interpretation assignments by reviewing relevant subject matter and potential terminology.

REQUIREMENTS

Fluency in both English and Italian, with exceptional oral and written communication skills in both languages. Experience in simultaneous interpretation, preferably in a conference or event setting. Strong cultural awareness and understanding of both languages to enhance effective communication. Ability to focus and perform under pressure in dynamic environments. Relevant certification in interpretation is preferred.
