Qualifications and Experience:

ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher (required) Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) Prior experience supporting students in educational settings preferred Ability to facilitate clear, accurate communication between students, staff, and peers Strong sense of confidentiality, professionalism, and adaptability Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one sign language interpretation for students in classroom and extracurricular activities Support student participation and engagement by accurately conveying spoken and signed content Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student needs are met Maintain professional boundaries and uphold all school, ethical, and confidentiality standards Participate in team meetings, student progress assessments, and training sessions as needed
