Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (EIPA, RID, or state equivalent preferred) Prior experience working in school settings or with children is highly desirable Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and school protocols Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation for students and staff in classroom and school-related activities Foster an inclusive environment for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Assist with educational content delivery, ensuring clear communication between teachers and students Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines Collaborate effectively with educational teams, families, and support staff
