Job Description Southampton Union Free School District is seeking qualified applicants to provide interpretation and translation services in support of District programs, meetings, and events. Applicants will be placed on a list as needed, based on District needs and scheduled events. Responsibilities Provide interpretation services during District events and meetings.

Provide interpretation services during Board of Education meetings, as needed.

Support School Comprehensive Education Plan (SCEP) meetings and related activities.

Translate documents, communications, and messages as requested.

Provide clear and accurate communication between the District and students, families, and community members.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling District information and communications. Qualifications Fluency in English and Spanish

Ability to accurately interpret verbal communications and translate written materials.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Availability to work scheduled meetings and events, which may include evening hours.
