Key Qualifications/Experience:
Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter or ASL Para required Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) essential Previous work in educational or school settings is highly valued Ability to provide consistent, positive support in a 1:1 setting Compassionate communicator committed to student success
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver dedicated 1:1 interpreting and communication support for a non-verbal first grader Facilitate effective communication between student and classroom staff in a self-contained classroom Assist in both academic and social settings to promote student engagement Collaborate with educators and therapy providers for optimal student outcomes Monitor and document student progress as needed
