e2111-73099 Job Description Step into a key role supporting student success as a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter in a dynamic educational setting near Yukon, OK. This full-time, onsite contract position welcomes experienced interpreters ready to make a daily difference in the lives of students who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing. Working closely in a 1:1 environment, your expertise will help foster inclusion and accessibility within the school community.

Desired Qualifications:

ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher (required) Certification or licensure as an educational Sign Language Interpreter, as required by state or district guidelines Prior experience providing 1:1 interpreter services in educational settings preferred Ability to facilitate clear and effective communication between students, staff, and peers using American Sign Language Flexibility, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset Strong commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 sign language interpreting services to an assigned student throughout the school day Collaborate with teaching staff and support personnel to adapt communication strategies and address student needs Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and best practices for interpreters in school settings Support student participation in both classroom and extracurricular activities Document daily activities as required by school policy
