Desired Qualifications:
Two years of college (at least 72 academic credits), an Associate's degree or higher, or passage of the Highly Qualified exam Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and comprehensive understanding of Deaf culture Previous experience providing sign language interpretation in educational settings is highly valued Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative outlook
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver interpretation services for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing middle school students across academic and extracurricular activities Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff Support students' integration and achievement within general education environments Maintain confidentiality and accurate records
