    • What You'll Do
    • + Facilitate communication between
    • deaf or hard-of-hearing students
    • and teachers, peers, and staff + Interpret spoken language into
    • American Sign Language (ASL)
    • and vice versa + Support classroom instruction, activities, and discussions + Float between school sites as needed + Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

    • What We're Looking For
    • + Proficiency in
    • American Sign Language (ASL)
    • + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in
    • Interpreting, Deaf Studies, or a related field
    • (preferred) + Applicable certifications, including one or more of the following (per state or district requirements): + State Board of Education Initial Sign Language Interpreter Certificate +
    • EIPA
    • certification +
    • RID•certification + CPR certification (if applicable) + TB clearance, current health certificate, and compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements + •Must be at least 18 years of age•?
