Job Description

The Lebanon School District is accepting applicants for interpreting/translating. Position available on an as needed basis. Internal staff will be paid $25/hr. outside of normal work hours.
Job Goal:
In this role, you will be responsible for translating written texts and/or interpreting spoken communication between languages, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity in a confidential setting.
Qualifications:
Fluency in at least two languages, including native or near-native proficiency in the target language. Proven experience as a translator and/or interpreter, with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating linguistic proficiency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both source and target languages. Knowledge of cultural differences and the ability to adapt communication to diverse cultural contexts. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and quality in translations and interpretations. Certification or accreditation as a translator and/or interpreter is preferred but not required. High School diploma/
