Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Bring your specialized skills as a Sign Language Interpreter to a rewarding contract position supporting a 5th-grade student in a Life Skills classroom. This onsite assignment offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative school environment close to New Oxford, PA. Experience the fulfillment of a dedicated 1:1 role, helping a young learner thrive academically and socially throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Your work week will be structured, totaling 35 hours with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:20 am to 2:10 pm, beginning August 19, 2026, and concluding June 2, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required) Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and skilled at interpreting in academic settings Ability to support students with diverse learning needs Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive connections with students and educational staff Commitment to providing clear, accurate, and confidential interpretation services
Key Responsibilities:
