•INTERPRETERS & TRANSLATORS (REMOTE & IN-PERSON) National Language Services (NLS) is actively hiring professional interpreters and translators for ongoing remote and in-person assignments throughout California.
Languages Needed:
Spanish, Punjabi, Arabic, Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Armenian, Korean, Farsi/Persian, Urdu, Dari, Pashto, Cantonese, Tagalog, Hmong, Khmer, Lao, Somali, Mixteco, Hindi, and additional languages.
Assignments May Include:
Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI)
In-Person Interpretation Document Translation Full-Day & Half-Day Assignments Government, Medical, Legal, School, Correctional Facility, and Community Appointments Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of interpretation/translation experience Fluency in English and at least one additional language Professional communication skills Reliable transportation for in-person assignments Reliable internet and computer for virtual assignments Microsoft Teams/Zoom experience preferred Court or Medical certification is a plus
