This role requires expertise in sign language interpretation to facilitate effective communication for individuals with hearing impairments.

Responsibilities include:

Providing clear and accurate sign language interpretation during educational and telehealth sessions. Collaborating with educators, healthcare providers, and students to ensure communication access. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Adapting interpretation methods to suit various settings and individual needs. Participating in ongoing professional development related to sign language and interpretation techniques.

Desired qualifications:

Proven experience as a sign language interpreter, preferably within schools and telehealth services. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with interpreting standards. Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) with a flexible approach to telehealth and in-person assignments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
