Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Demonstrated experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings RID/NAD certification or equivalent (preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to various age groups and classroom environments
Responsibilities:
Interpret spoken communication into sign language for students and staff Support students participation in classroom instruction, activities, and events Collaborate with teachers and education teams to ensure effective communication accommodations Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Assist in developing communication strategies tailored to individual student needs
