e2111-37064 Job Description Experience an opportunity to make a significant impact supporting students in an educational setting as a professional Sign Language Interpreter. In this contract, full-time role, you'll work 1:1 with a student, providing vital communication access and fostering an inclusive academic environment. This position is on-site and welcomes experienced interpreters open to travel.

Key Qualifications:

ASLPI score of 4.1 or above is required Demonstrated expertise in American Sign Language and educational interpreting Previous experience in a school environment, preferably supporting individual students Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure clear and effective communication Strong commitment to student advocacy and confidentiality National or state interpreter certification preferred

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate and nuanced ASL interpretation for a student in classroom and school activities Serve as a communication bridge among students, educators, and peers Support the students understanding and participation in both academic and extracurricular activities Adapt interpreting techniques to suit various learning needs and environments Maintain professional ethical standards consistent with interpreting best practices Assist with documentation and progress monitoring as needed Enjoy a dynamic workplace that values your expertise and supports your professional development.
