Qualifications:

American Sign Language Proficiency Interview (ASLPI) score of 4.1 or higher (required) Prior experience as a 1:1 school-based interpreter preferred Ability to adapt signing styles for individual student needs Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver dedicated 1:1 interpretation for a student during instructional and school-based activities Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and support teams to optimize the students learning experience Accurately interpret classroom lessons, activities, and assignments in real-time Assist with modifying educational content as directed, providing equal access for the student Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
