Key Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language with an ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in school or educational environments preferred Commitment to full-time, in-person work Ability to build rapport with young learners and adapt interpreting style as needed Eager to contribute in a dynamic school setting

Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 interpreting services for students, ensuring accurate and effective communication in classroom, small group, and extracurricular settings Adapt language and interpreting methods to suit various age groups and learning needs Partner closely with educators, support staff, and families to reinforce student engagement and educational goals Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined for educational interpreters
