The student is adjusting after transitioning from a Residential Day School Program and will benefit from an attentive, flexible interpreter for instructional periods throughout the school day.

Position Details:

Contract role running from August 12, 2026 to May 27, 2027 Monday through Thursday, averaging 26 hours per week Focused on instructional supportinterpreter services not required during lunch or arrival/dismissal periods Onsite assignment

Desired Skills and Experience:

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) Experience facilitating communication for students in educational settings, especially those in behavioral classrooms Comfortable working with assistive devices such as Cochlear implants and ALD Ability to adapt to a students unique communication style Professional licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter (documentation required) Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Previous experience supporting students transitioning from specialized or residential schooling environments is a plus
