Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Looking for an opportunity to use your sign language expertise in a school setting? Two contract positions are available for skilled Sign Language Interpreters to work one-on-one with elementary-aged students in the Virginia Beach area. This assignment begins August 25, 2026, and continues through June 15, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Your assignments may shift between school locations, ensuring you have dynamic and meaningful experiences while supporting students who may not always be present at their home campus. While Visaphonics proficiency is appreciated, it is not required—commitment to student-centered, high-quality interpretation takes top priority.
