Key Qualifications:
Valid VA Quality Assurance Screening (VQAS) Level III required EIPA Score of 3.5 strongly preferred (candidates with a score above 3.0 considered for interview) OR QAS Score of 3 or better Experience providing interpreting services in a school environment preferred Flexibility to work at different school locations as needed Comfort working 1:1 with elementary students
Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation for assigned student(s), primarily at the elementary level Utilize Visaphonics (preferred, but not required) Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote inclusive communication Travel between school sites within the district as needed if assigned student is absent Ensure accurate and confidential communication at all times
