School Year Job Description/Role Responsibilities:

Provide specialized interpreter services to a Gen Ed student with hearing impairments across multiple settings, helping them access the educational curriculum and develop skills necessary for academic success and independence. Responsibilities include providing direct interpreting services in all areas of the student's education. This includes collaborating with teachers, coaches, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The ASL Interpreter ensures compliance with Texas and federal special education requirements while supporting students' educational, social, and functional development.

Qualifications:

BEI or RID (Board for Evaluation of Interpreters or Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) Must (Experience, Licenses/Certifications, Endorsements, Skills): They are open to all experience levels for a qualified and certified candidate
