Desired Qualifications:
Ability to provide sign language interpretation (certification preferred) Previous experience interpreting in a school or educational setting is highly valued Solid understanding of Deaf culture and effective communication strategies Flexibility, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Interpret spoken language to sign language (and vice versa) for students and school personnel Foster accessible communication in both classroom and extracurricular activities Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
