This contract opportunity, situated near Bellevue, WA, runs from September 2, 2026, through June 11, 2027. You'll play a pivotal part in helping K-12 students and staff thrive by bridging language and communication gaps. Qualifications:

Fluency in American Sign Language required; consideration given to non-certified, ASL-fluent paraprofessionals Meet one of the two pathways below: EIPA pathway: Achieved a score of 4.0 or higher on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) AND passed the EIPA Written Test RID pathway: Hold National Interpreter Certification (NIC) through Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) AND passed the

EIPA Written Test Key Responsibilities:

Provide interpreting services for both students and staff throughout the district Adapt communication style for a range of K-12 grade levels and settings Support inclusive classroom environments and participation Foster connections to ensure equal access to educational opportunities Work collaboratively with teachers, educational teams, and families Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 3032.5 hours per week throughout the school year. Compensation for this contract position ranges from $28$42 per hour, delivered through weekly pay cycles.
