What We're Looking For:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with experience interpreting in educational settings Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter or relevant equivalent Previous background working with preschool-aged children is strongly preferred Ability to adapt communication style to the needs of young learners Dependable, punctual, and able to collaborate with other educators and staff

Key Responsibilities:

Provide ASL interpreting services to support preschool students in classroom activities, small groups, and individual interactions Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and peers Assist in fostering an inclusive classroom environment where all students can engage and thrive Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards within the school community Participate in team meetings or discussions relevant to student progress and interpreter services as needed
