This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with middle school students as part of a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) program that provides ample structure and support.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM As part of this collaborative setting, you will facilitate communication for students in a variety of classroom environments. Your role will include interpreting in both DHH classrooms and general education classes, as well as offering small group and one-on-one interpreting to meet the unique needs of each student.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Demonstrated proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter (experience in school settings preferred) Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher is preferred Experience with middle school-aged students is a plus Strong team player with a flexible and student-centered approach Ability to adapt interpreting styles across academic and social contexts
