Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational or school environments Ability to interpret effectively in both classroom and extracurricular settings Familiarity with educational terminology and instructional content Strong communication and interpersonal skills Credentialing or certification relevant to educational interpreting (such as EIPA, RID, or state-specific qualifications) preferred Experience collaborating with teaching staff and students of diverse backgrounds Adaptable, reliable, and skilled in maintaining confidentiality
