Provide interpretation services for students in a school setting in Federal Way, WA. Play a vital role in ensuring clear communication between students and staff for inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret sign language for students during classroom instruction, assemblies, and extracurricular events. Collaborate with educational team members to support effective communication strategies. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Adapt to the school's schedule and specific classroom or activity needs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years interpreting experience for the deaf. Soft skills such as communication, patience, and adaptability. Physical stamina required for long periods of interpreting. Background check required.
