Valid ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or higher Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience in educational settings Ability to interpret fluently in real-time within a school environment Comfortable with full-time, on-site responsibilities Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering inclusive educational experiences Flexibility and professionalism in adapting to varying student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate, effective interpreting for 1:1 student support throughout the school day Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to optimize communication access Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all settings Foster a welcoming, accessible environment for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Contribute to student success and participation in both academic and extracurricular activities
