r43144-98036 Job Description ASL Interpreter/Certified Sign Language Interpreter | Edmonds School District Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students, teachers, and educational staff throughout the Edmonds School District in Lynnwood, WA. We are seeking ASL Fluent Providers, Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDIs), and Certified Sign Language Interpreters (SLIs) to provide high-quality interpreting services across a district-wide regional DHH program.
Qualifications:
ASL fluent candidates strongly encouraged to apply Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI) or Certified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) credentials preferred/required based on assignment Experience providing ASL interpreting services in educational settings preferred Ability to effectively interpret for students, Deaf Teachers, and Deaf Paraeducators Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults from PreK through age 22 is highly valued Strong communication, professionalism, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to different school environments and student communication needs
Schedule:
Full-time position 3032.5 hours per week School-based schedule for the academic year 3 openings available Assignments throughout the Edmonds School District and surrounding regional program area

Responsibilities:
