Key Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreting practices Preferably hold a 3.5 EIPA score or higher Experience working with middle school-aged students is beneficial Ability to interpret in various educational settings: small groups, one-on-one, and general classroom Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide interpreting services for DHH students across DHH program classrooms and general education environments Foster understanding between students, staff, and educators Adapt interpreting styles to suit varying student needs and contexts Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere Support students in both academic and social interactions throughout the school day This role offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
