Qualifications & Experience Desired:

ASLPI score of 4.1 or above required Demonstrated professional interpreting experience, preferably in schools or with children Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Proven commitment to facilitating communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and the school community Relevant certification or licensure as required by state or educational standards Adaptable, reliable, and energetic approach to daily challenges Willingness to work onsite in a fast-paced school setting

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 interpreting services for a designated student during school hours Foster clear and effective communication between students, teachers, and peers Support student participation in classroom activities, discussions, and extracurriculars Adhere to ethical standards and best practices in educational interpreting Collaborate with education staff to adapt interpreting techniques as needed Maintain accurate, confidential records as required
