The sky is the limit! Job Description Are you enchanted by the magic of the holiday season and have a passion for creating dazzling light displays? We are seeking a skilled Lighting/Maintenance Technician to join our team and bring festive joy to the community through the artistry of holiday lighting and more. As a Lighting/Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for year-round upkeep, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining light displays with precision and care. Safely install and set up Christmas light displays according to design specifications. Ensure proper placement of lights on trees, buildings, and other structures. Responsible for making power runs for all Christmas lights. Identify and resolve any technical issues with Christmas lights promptly and efficiently. Possess a strong understanding of electrical systems to troubleshoot and repair lighting problems. Comfortably work at elevated heights to install and maintain lights on tall structures. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working at heights. Operate aerial lifts and other equipment to access elevated areas safely. Prior experience with lift operation and adherence to safety regulations is essential. Ensure meticulous attention to detail in the arrangement and configuration of Christmas lights. Maintain the aesthetic integrity of the designs and fix any discrepancies. Interact professionally with colleagues and address any concerns or questions regarding the Christmas light displays. Exhibit patience when troubleshooting issues and adaptability to changing project requirements. Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak holiday seasons. Safely break down all Christmas light displays and prepare for transportation back to off-site storage. Ensure everything is accounted for and oversee transportation. Qualifications Previous experience in light installation or a related field. Comfortable working at heights and operating aerial lifts. Strong troubleshooting skills with basic electrical systems. Ability to lift up to 100lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Patience and attention to detail.
