Job Summary Job Summary Under the general direction of the Performing Arts Center (PAC) Theater Manager or assigned supervisor, the Performing Arts Center Theater Technician oversees all technical functions of the PAC, including sound, lighting, set design and construction. The Theater Technician will support the PAC Theater Manager in the use and maintenance of the PAC and other district facilities for event specific needs, assists in coordinating the use of PAC facilities for internal and external users; collaborates with other district departments regarding specific technical needs for productions and events, oversees, and directs theater staff and volunteers. Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level or comparable courses in theater production, stage craft or related field; three years' experience with increasing levels of responsibility in the operation of sound and lighting equipment and maintenance of audio-visual and stage equipment.
