Upright Production Rentals is a Los Angeles-based event production and equipment rental company specializing in staging, LED video walls, truss, lighting, barricades, pipe & drape, mobile stages and other professional production equipment. We work on concerts, festivals, corporate events, film productions, weddings and special events throughout Southern California and beyond. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organized Production Warehouse & Event Crew Technician to join our team. This is not a typical packing or fulfillment warehouse position. You will work hands-on with professional event-production equipment and have the opportunity to learn staging, AV, LED video walls, lighting, truss and live-event production. For the right person, there is an opportunity to advance into a Production Technician, Driver or Crew Lead position. RESPONSIBILITIESWarehouse Prepare equipment for upcoming jobs based on job orders Pull and stage equipment for outgoing productions Load and unload company trucks Double-check equipment before jobs leave the warehouse Count and inspect equipment when it returns Identify and report damaged or missing equipment Clean and maintain staging and production equipment Keep inventory organized in its designated warehouse locations Maintain a clean and safe working environment Help identify missing equipment or potential problems before jobs leave the warehouse Event Production Assist with event setup and breakdown Assemble stage decks, stairs, guardrails and ADA ramps Assist with truss, barricades and pipe & drape Assist AV technicians with LED video walls, lighting and other production equipment Load and unload trucks at event locations Follow instructions from Crew Leads and Production Managers Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when working around clients and venues Help make sure every installation is clean, safe, secure and show-ready

REQUIREMENTS

Reliable and punctual Strong work ethic and positive attitude Comfortable performing physical work Able to safely lift and move production equipment Comfortable using basic hand and power tools Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team Good organizational skills and attention to detail Willing to learn new equipment and skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Available for occasional early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends based on production schedules A valid driver's license is strongly preferred. Experience in any of the following is a plus, but not required: Event production, staging, AV, lighting, LED video walls, construction, warehouse operations, equipment rental, moving, trucking, rigging, scenic fabrication or general labor. We are willing to train the right person.
