We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Audio, Lighting, and Video Technicians to join our Night Crew supporting live events, meetings, and AV operations within a hotel environment. This position is ideal for a professional who takes pride in organization, cleanliness, equipment quality, and maintaining a high standard of readiness across the property. The Night Crew plays a critical role in ensuring that AV equipment, event spaces, and work areas are properly maintained, organized, cleaned, and prepared for upcoming events. Typical starting hours will generally fall within the 2:00 PM-10:00 PM range, although schedules and hours may vary based on property needs, event schedules, and business demands. Flexibility is required. The ideal candidate is someone who is technically capable, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a polished, professional presence in a high-end hotel environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and strike (tear down) audio, lighting, and video equipment for events of varying sizes and complexity Provide technical support during meetings, conferences, special events, and other hotel functions as needed Perform quality control inspections of AV equipment to ensure systems are functional, clean, organized, and event-ready Test microphones, mixers, projectors, LED walls, displays, lighting systems, cabling, and other AV equipment Troubleshoot and address technical issues quickly and effectively Clean and maintain AV equipment, cables, cases, carts, and accessories to a high professional standard Organize and maintain AV storage areas, equipment rooms, closets, carts, and workspaces throughout the property Ensure equipment is properly stored, labeled, coiled, secured, and ready for future use Conduct regular checks of equipment condition and report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces and AV work areas throughout the shift Assist with maintaining consistent AV standards across all properties and event spaces Prepare equipment and spaces for upcoming events and the following day's operations Work closely with hotel staff, event planners, and other AV team members to ensure operational needs are met Deliver professional, courteous, and client-focused service when interacting with guests, clients, hotel personnel, and event teams Follow all safety procedures and best practices when handling, transporting, and storing AV equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times Perform other AV-related operational and maintenance duties as assigned Night Crew Focus While setup and striking events are an important part of this position, the Night Crew will also be responsible for the ongoing organization, maintenance, cleaning, and quality control of AV operations throughout the property . Night Crew Technicians will help ensure that: AV equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored Equipment rooms and storage areas remain organized and inventory is maintained Cables and accessories are properly coiled, labeled, and stored Event spaces and AV work areas are left clean and orderly Equipment requiring repair or replacement is identified and reported Upcoming events are reviewed and equipment is prepared accordingly The property is consistently maintained to a high operational and presentation standard Qualifications Prior experience in audio, video, and/or lighting production; hotel or live event experience preferred Working knowledge of AV equipment including microphones, mixers, projectors, LED walls, displays, and lighting systems Ability to set up and operate basic to intermediate AV systems independently Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and a high level of personal organization Ability to work independently and proactively during evening hours Commitment to maintaining clean, organized, and professional workspaces Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods Preferred Skills Experience working in hotel, hospitality, corporate, or live-event environments Familiarity with digital audio consoles and video switching systems Basic networking knowledge for AV systems Experience with LED walls, projection systems, and professional lighting systems Familiarity with AV equipment maintenance and quality-control procedures Strong organizational and inventory-management skills Ability to identify potential equipment issues before they impact an event A polished and professional demeanor suited for high-end client interaction Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively with limited supervision Schedule This is an evening/night crew position . Typical starting hours will generally be within the 2:00 PM-10:00 PM range. Actual start and end times may change based on event schedules, property needs, workload, and operational requirements. Flexibility is required, including availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional schedule adjustments.
