This is a prevailing wage position, offering competitive pay based on government-mandated wage determinations. Candidates must have previous experience performing lighting retrofits, including LED upgrades and ballast replacements in commercial or institutional settings.
Responsibilities:
Perform lighting retrofit installations and upgrades according to project specifications and electrical codes Replace existing fixtures and lamps with energy-efficient alternatives (e.g., LED) Install new ballasts, drivers, and controls as needed Maintain clean, organized, and safe work sites Read and interpret work orders Complete required project documentation accurately and on time Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients on-site
Requirements:
Must have a current and valid Non-Residential Lighting Certification Proven experience in lighting retrofits Working knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices Ability to use hand and power tools, ladders, lifts, and other equipment Reliable transportation to job sites within the Southern CA area Must be eligible to work in the United States OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus High school diploma or GED required; additional trade certifications are a bonus Why Work With Us?
