Job Description

The Lighting & Electrical Service Technician is responsible for performing lighting maintenance, minor electrical repairs, and troubleshooting at retail and commercial customer locations. This role requires independent work, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting branch operational goals.
Pay:
$28-$35/hr The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Military Occupational Specialty Code:
91E, 91C, EM, HT, MK, DC, 1161, 1341, 3E1X1 Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Current California Non-Residential Lighting Technician (NRLT) or General Electrician Certification. 2+ years of lighting maintenance and electrical service experience in commercial or retail environments. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and safely in a field service environment. Preferred Aerial Lift Certification. Boom truck operating experience. Experience preparing estimates and service recommendations. OSHA 10 Certification. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile service management systems. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and ladders. Ability to work at heights using ladders, lifts, and boom trucks. Ability to bend, climb, reach, stand, and drive for extended periods. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective lighting maintenance and minor electrical repairs. Service assigned customer accounts and maintenance routes. Troubleshoot lighting and electrical systems and recommend additional repair needs. Accurately complete work orders, material tracking, and service documentation. Operate company vehicles, ladders, aerial lifts, and other access equipment safely. Support customer satisfaction initiatives and maintain professional client relationships. Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Participate in after-hours, weekend, and on-call service schedules as needed. Collaborate with Service and Sales teams to support customer and business objectives. Perform other duties as assigned.
