Lighting Technician About the Role At Lucky Palm Lighting, we don't just install lights; we create atmospheres. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Independent Contractor to help us execute premier outdoor lighting projects throughout the Jacksonville Beach area. Whether you are a seasoned installer or have a strong mechanical background and are ready to learn a specialized trade, we provide the training and project flow to keep you busy.

Project Scope & Responsibilities Precision Installation:

Assemble and mount low-voltage fixtures in landscape and architectural locations according to design specs.

Technical Execution:

Run and bury low-voltage wiring (12V) and mount/wire transformers.

System Orientation:

Provide homeowners with a brief walkthrough of their new system upon completion.

Growth Mindset:

Identify and communicate opportunities for system enhancements or additional fixtures to the client. The "Lucky Palm"

Standard:

Perform meticulous site clean-up and ensure all light aims are perfected before leaving the property.

Contract Requirements Safety First:

Lucky Palm Lighting is a drug-free environment. All contracts are contingent upon a successful pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Clean Record:

Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean 3-year driving history.

Physicality:

Must be comfortable working on ladders, performing manual labor (digging/trenching), and working in all Florida weather conditions.

Skills & Attributes Professionalism:

Well-groomed and articulate; comfortable interacting with high-end residential clients.

Technical Aptitude:

A proactive problem solver who takes pride in "clean" work (hidden wires, leveled fixtures).
