In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely installing, maintaining, and removing holiday lighting displays on residential and commercial properties. Your technical skills and mechanical knowledge will ensure that each display is both beautiful and secure, creating memorable holiday experiences for clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, showcase your craftsmanship, and spread joy during the holiday season. Duties Safely install holiday lighting systems using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts while adhering to safety protocols Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical plans to accurately position lights and decorations Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform necessary repairs or adjustments Conduct routine maintenance on lighting equipment, ensuring all components are in optimal working condition Remove and store lighting displays after the holiday season, ensuring proper storage of all equipment Use mechanical knowledge to assemble or repair mounting structures and support hardware Collaborate with clients to customize lighting designs that meet their aesthetic preferences and safety standards Qualifications Experience with electrical diagnostics, interpreting schematics, and troubleshooting electrical systems Mechanical knowledge related to mounting hardware, supports, and light fixtures Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics or experience operating lifts or scaffolding safely Background in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices for electrical or mechanical systems Technical proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters and the ability to read technical drawings or schematics Strong physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions while lifting and climbing Excellent attention to detail to ensure safety compliance and high-quality installations Embark on a festive adventure with us!
